Top 3 Gameday Trends 2023

 This past weekend was week 1 of college football! The best time of the year! I have been taking in all the content I can when it comes to outfit trends here in the SEC. For those who don't know, SEC game days are basically a weekly fashion show for us down here. First I will include a photo of my week 1 outfit and then we will get into what I saw and LOVED throughout the SEC this weekend!

BOWS! BOWS! BOWS!

This is by far the most popular trend I have seen thus far in the game day atmosphere. Which you know I am loving, not only from my outfit this week but I have been wearing tiny bows and ribbon in my hair for a couple of years now and feel it really does add the cutest girly touch to any outfit. I am living for the moment that girly-girl core is having right now and will be a willing participant in this trend.

COASTAL COWGIRL BOOTS!

Again, I am all for this girly-girl aesthetic trend at the moment. And I saw these DIY boots all over my TikTok this weekend! I didn't't really see many here at UA but I have a feeling it will be on its way soon. Honestly wishing I could have done it this week or next but my preplanned fits weren't going to give them their moment. But God knows I have the ribbon for it. So if anyone else at UA will let me decorate their boots for next game day, I am so down.

CUT-OUTS/CROCHET!

Finally, I saw a lot of fun cut-outs and crochet pieces. Cut-outs I had never seen in game days past, like the circles shown above, half circles, etc. Super fun and unique. Also, always love a good crochet or tiny cutout piece like the dress and skirt shown above. Elevates an outfit to the next level especially when accessorized correctly.
