Hair Routine

To finish out the "routines" I have been perfecting all summer we have my haircare routine. I keep my hair blonde and recently cut about 6 inches off the bottom so I am trying my best to take care of my hair and keep it as healthy as possible.

I want to start with saying that if your mom never told you, brush you hair before you get in the shower/bath. Even after a long night out ladies, it will make the world of difference.

Step 1: Redkin All Soft Shampoo

Redkin is a tried and true for cosmetologists everywhere. I've never been to a salon that doesn't sell her. And for good reason, my hair has never felt stronger or healthier. Plus, Ulta has good sales on Redkin all the time! I know it is an investment but haircare is so important especially if you bleach.

Step 3: Being Big Hair Volumizing Shampoo

Now I'm sure you are confused as to why there is another shampoo/conditioner combo but hear me out. This is my favorite shampoo to use when I know I am blowing my hair out after, which I usually don't do. I try to do as little heat on my hair as possible because my hair dries bone straight itself but if I am going out/want a little more body in my hair I will use this. It is a Walmart exclusive and is literally $6. The volume really lasts.

Odele is sold at Target and at Ulta, and it is a good affordable haircare brand. Also, it smells divine.

Step 5: Odele Leave-In Detangling Tonic

Again, love Odele. I will say it is easier with this product to spray it directly into your hair and then into your ends because if you get too much product in your roots it will weigh your hair down.

Okay, last Eva NYC product but you can't beat the quality, price, and convince since they are sold at Ulta and Target. But I do love this product. I was ride or die for Batiste for years but feel like this lasts longer, adds more volume, and is genuinely invisible.

Dry Shampoo: Bumble & Bumble Prêt-à-Powder Post Workout Dry Shampoo Mist

I know I just shared my dry shampoo but THIS RIGHT HERE. Is insane. For post workouts, I do pilates so I am dripping in sweat after every workout which isn't great when I have class or chapter afterwards. This is a more expensive pick but if you sweat a lot/workout usually this is a game changer. It leaves your hair looking like you just washed it. It is literal magic like I truly cannot explain.

Purple Shampoo: Kristin Ess One Purple Shampoo

Now finally for my blonde girls. I know how hard it is to keep a good blonde and not get brassy especially in college. And these purple shampoos can get expensive for something you only have to use a couple of times a week. So Kristin Ess is what I go with, only $12 and is much better for your hair then lower end drugstore options.
