Grammys 2025: Best & Worst Dressed

Sabrina Carpenter

My girl. I literally didn't see one negative thing about her red carpet look. She looked absolutely stunning, channeling Marylin Monroe realness. I think this was definitely a tease to her American Vogue cover that was just announced where it is very Americana/Marylin-core. She always looks stunning in blue and feathers are her staple. Sexy backless moment with a hanging jewel in the perfect "Short N' Sweet" shade of pale blue, just jaw dropping. Her signature glowy pink cheeked makeup was also ever present on the carpet before her 2 Grammy wins. I could write a desertion about her and her style and beauty so I'll stop while I'm ahead before the stalker fangirl accusation come rolling in.

Doechii

Next up is the incredibly talented and gorgeous Doechii in Thom Browne. I love her to the moon and back, from her music to her style. She is always in some sort of "office chic" look and I for one am here for it. Rocking Thom Browne a lot, which indicates the impeccable taste IMO. I love when artists stick to a cohesive style for a while it keeps people interested and waiting to see what happens next. I see her in MiuMiu more and more coming soon. Also, side note her performance and her acceptance speech was so powerful and one of my favorite parts of the night.

Nikki Glaser

This is a bit of a wild pull. But I have been a bit obsessed with Nikki since her golden globes performance. She was funny and respectful and such a step up from the bozo they had last year. That being said, she did not disappoint at the Grammys. She looked so stunning in this blue stoned moment. Her legs also, so gore. Tan and glowing. We love to see funny women succeed. 

Willow Smith

I've seen so many people closing on Jaden for his Grammys look, rightfully so, but no one has been talking about how much Willow's look ate down. In Dior, I love the oversized blazer with the little bra top and hot pants under. A fully beaded matching set, such a creative and innovative movement. I feel like she came at a time where I needed a break from all the gowns and boring suits so this was really THE moment. And obviously, a moment for the shoes. In love.

Clairo

Again, I've seen no one talking about miss Clairo. In general I think her style is always "cool aunt" chic. This was nothing short of that. Her voice, her lyrics, her mind, influenced an entire generation of Tumblr girls and as said on the carpet "Bisexual Men of Brooklyn" (lol). We never really see polka dots on the carpet because I feel people see them as juvenile and I think Clairo really balancing on the line of that child-like style and being sophisticated enough for the biggest night in music.

Worst Dressed

Billie Eilish

This pains me to say. But when it comes to Billie, I've never truly loved how she has styled her red carpet looks. Nothing will beat her performance look for the Oscar's last year or her Oscar de la Renta Met Gala look. It's giving three blind mice and that's all I can see. Obviously one of the most talented voices of our generation but I wish she would give us more when it comes to her style. There is a difference between fashion not being her main priority to not even TRYING.

Olivia Rodrigo

Now listen, I love Olivia. I could probably sing every word to every one of her songs. But she has... NEVER not ONCE impressed me at an awards show carpet. It is always giving Jovani prom dress, and not even one of the expensive ones. I'm talking basic, boring, plain prom dress. Not even senior year prom dress, this is a junior year dress y'all. Even down to her hair and makeup. Always the same hair with a slight curl at the bottom and a plain base, winged eyeliner, nude or red lip. I'm BORED. If you bring an artist like Chappell Roan on your world tour and you have this pop punk presence in the music industry, give me more. I'm begging. 

Troye Sivan

Again, this pains me physically to say. I love you Troye baby. But this "custom" Prada... no. It was ill fitting, not a great color in the first place but also, the blazer, pants, and mesh undershirt not matching was so hard to watch. The sleeves were too long. The pants were too long.  The shoes looked 3 sizes too big, I can't. Someone get this gay icon a gay stylist. Because obviously something is not working here. 

 Joy Villa

Now this one, does not pain me to write. This diva right here. Number one, how is this woman invited to the Grammys every year. She had 300 monthly listeners at the time or the carpet. No nominations. No one wants her there. She is constantly trying to make some crazy political statement that no one in the academy cares to hear about. It's not even like I hate her for her political affiliation (yes I do) but like girl... you just look busted. Constantly.
